Discover your destiny

I am mindblown by how one book that I browsed upon weeks ago turns out to be a very fulfilling destiny discovery journey. This book presents itself in a manner where if one were to discover your true self, first you need to be aware and awakened.

For the writer doesn't believe in self improvement, it is more on "self remembering" of our true selves and knowing the true nature of laws. I am at awed. There is a seven steps of Awakening Stages that one has to go through. I do realise I myself am trap in what we name society norms. in our pursuit to be accepted, we lost our true selves. it is in everyone's goal to find back yourself. ask yourself. who am i? why am i doing? is this what will i do to be my happy, true self?

the destiny discovery journey begins. i am grateful that this has come to my life.

To the one guru that enlightens me. Knowledge knows no boundary when you have a book. =)

the romance of the past

during the raya break, i had decided to extend another three days to get an entire week off. awesome. part of me wanted to give my mind a break and have a good read. *ting (sound of a light bulb). i still have books that i have yet to read which i purchased during the big bad wolf event held in melaka during april. upon searching through the books, this book popped up. let's give it a shot. i have always heard about mr darcy but i wonder why the constant mention of him. turns out, he is a fictional character created by jane austen for women's fascination about the perfect man. when it comes to romance story, my earthly world will be shut and i will be brought into the world of imagination.

quite a good read i would say. it talks about literature, books and book tour. the male hero is quite witty, humble and ordinary in human life. relate-able. but the mr darcy in the story originates from the past. the detailed description of the myriads splendid views of england did make me wanna buy a plane ticket and just fly there. bring me to london please. i think the time travel element that the writer brings is very refreshing indeed and subtle hinting of the first person character having wild dreams was always on my mind. there's always an element of miracle in love story.

finished within five days.
part of me want to believe in miracle because yours truly never believe in true love. perhaps it's time to have faith, mate.

open up your sight and you shall see

during this super busy time, i was practically working around the clock. juggling between 10am to 12am job, i was a living zombie. still, occasional break is needed. for me, i require moments of comedic joke from the drama and the inspiring story of the great invention of anime. well, i need some readings on social issue as well. as part of the member of the society, i feel bad at times for not contributing much. everyone can say that they are working and this is sufficient to generate the economy and keeps it moving but really? is this what i have learned throughout my education process? i feel like a failure. or should i play the pin pointing game where the education system only churns out paper based society and the "I" interest point of view.

i won't justify my action because i ain't complete and perfect but at the very least, i have to be aware of the pressing need of some part of the society. today, i found a good article. while it is just a minor issue, it plays a important part as it shows how our lack attention to smaller things in life that causes inconvenience to those who were disadvantaged. often, we will say, it's okay la. just for a while but do we really see the real picture or it is just a simple self-interest concept being played here. you be the judge.
