age old subject

i wonder why. i am asked this question almost like a few times a year. "why you don't have a gf"

first, i will pretend what is gf which in fact, i know well what it is.... haha... avoiding the question perhaps? *take hint la, i have no answer for it as well. no, actually i do have the answer. i have the perfect answer why i choose to be single. one, less problem. two, carefree. three, i have a lot of problems at hand.

then, a friend will say, "aiyar, this kind of problem doesn't matter one" if the girl really likes you, she will not care about this kind of matter. hmmm, at least coming from a girl's perspective makes the overall argument sounds more convincing. haha... ok la, there is another reason. the girl of my type has not appeared yet. perfect answer... opppssss.... do i hurt a lot of girls? haha... thick-faced right me? 

recently, two people say i am cute... alamak, at least say la i am handsome ke or yeng ke.. cute pulak.... maybe my personality is rather unique i guess. not bad, not bad. at least being cute is a good trait as well. better than nothing right? 

and then, i asked the girl la, she recently just announced her relationship in the open ma. how do you know the other person is the one? your heart beats faster? 

she said, "errrrrr....... not really. but they are symptoms associated with it. like you want to see the person all the time, talk to the person and share your feelings with him. and she said the most important thing, you can be yourself" wow, perfect answer. 9 points! wait a minute, where is 1 point goes?

to me, i am always being myself wor... then friends aso can fulfill all the rest. she said it is different. fine, since she is the one in love, i respect and honour her answer as the ultimate truth. she did give some good advice too which i find quite relieving. haha.... thank you very much for you concern. that's the reason she gave for asking that question and somehow, i believe so. i am only 21 and friends start to get concern. ohh no... am i being a slow bloomer in love. perhaps. i can aso attribute to patience is a virtue. love does not consider anything. it comes when you least expected. haha.. fine, i shall wait and see.
